Stories
The journeys, encounters and experiences behind my photography.
Photography is about much more than the final image. Behind every photograph is a story, shaped by the journey, the encounter, the conditions and the moments that ultimately came together to create it.
Here I share trip reports from some of the places photography has taken me, from Arctic expeditions to trips closer to home, stories behind individual images exploring the circumstances and moments that led to a particular photograph, as well as photography projects where spending time with the same subject or location allows me to become more familiar with it, work with greater purpose and ultimately capture unique moments as part of a wider body of work.
