Owls have become a particular passion within my wildlife photography. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to photograph a growing number of species, from those found close to home in the UK to owls encountered on trips around the world.

Good fieldcraft and many hours spent observing and understanding these birds are an important part of my approach, allowing me to capture natural behaviour while minimising disturbance. All of my owl photography is undertaken ethically, with the welfare of the birds always coming first and a strictly no-baiting.
