Barn Owl in the Falling Snow

This image was taken in January of 2021.  This is a great time of year for Barn Owl photography as the cold and wet weather often means they are out hunting during daylight.  This beautiful female Barn Owl was hunting up and down the edge of the road going from post to post.  This was her last stop as the snow started to fall and she flew off back into the shelter of a nearby barn.
