Sleeping Arctic Fox

On the last day of a truly unforgettable expedition around Svalbard I spotted this Arctic Fox curled up asleep.  He momentarily opened his eye, realised our small group was of no interest or threat to it and went back to sleep.  He remained curled up asleep in this spot for the whole duration of our landing allowing each of the 3 groups of people to grab a photograph.  An unforgettable moment and earned me a special mention in the trip highlights from the crew at the end of the voyage.
