It has been a good year for Hares in my area and I spent many happy hours watching them during the early part of the year. Now that the hedge rows, verges and fields have all grown up its very difficult to get any images so I thought it was about time I updated my gallery with my favorite shots from this year. I was lucky enough to witness several pairs boxing however each time outside the reach of my lens so no boxing shots – one for next year.!

On my way to visit my family in Bournemouth today I stopped at a little spot along the river Stour where a pair of Kingfishers are regularly spotted.
Ive been a few times recently but the water level of the river had been very high with all the rain but this time its returned to normal level revealing a meal post just near an inlet in the river which is perfect for a spot of fishing.
After half an hour of waiting I was rewarded with the below images which ive also added to my Kingfisher gallery which can be found here
